New stack: Matomo (formerly Piwik)

Matomo (stack page) is the leading open alternative to Google Analytics that gives you full control over your data. Matomo has recently changed the name from the well-known Piwik (most likely due to trademark issues Piwik Pro).

With the recent policy changes defining the rules and responsibility of handling personal data (GDPR) of your customers open-source solutions like Matomo become more actual. With Wodby you can deploy docker-based Matomo stack to any server you want — to a public cloud like AWS, local bare-metal hosting provider or your own datacenter.

In addition to the basic containers (PHP-FPM, Nginx, MariaDB) you can optionally deploy Redis for cache storage and OpenSMTPD for email delivery. You can find setup instructions on Matomo stack page.
